Aisha
Aisha is 13 years old and has clubfoot and autism. She is nonverbal, uses a wheelchair, and requires full support for feeding and personal care. Since the passing of her father, her mother has been raising three children alone, sustaining the family through petty trading.
Aisha is the eldest, and though she cannot yet express it, she is surrounded by a family that loves her deeply. Her mother's days are long and physically demanding, and as Aisha grows, her care becomes harder still.
Through Orchard House, we hope to provide Aisha with the therapeutic and educational support that matches her age and potential, while offering her mother the practical help she so urgently needs. No family should have to carry this much alone.
